The company surpasses €50 million in investment commitments and continues onboarding operators with the aim of strengthening the gaming-in-hospitality model in Spain
BARIANZA, a business project focused on developing the amusement machines segment in the hospitality industry, continues to advance its growth plan with the ambition of contributing to the strengthening of the business model that has historically characterised the gaming sector in Spain.
Since the start of its operations in November 2024, the company has reached investment commitments exceeding €50 million, aimed at driving a growth project based on operator integration, the preservation of existing business expertise, and collaboration across the sector.
In this first year of activity, BARIANZA has invested over €35 million in the incorporation of eight operating companies that together manage approximately 1,100 amusement machines, with a presence in five autonomous communities and combined revenue of close to €24 million.
The project continues to analyse new opportunities for onboarding operators who wish to join a business structure that facilitates generational succession and enables the sector to face future challenges, while maintaining close ties with the hospitality industry and local market knowledge. The company is currently in advanced discussions with several sector companies that could contribute approximately 2,750 additional machines to the project.
BARIANZA's model seeks to combine the experience of traditional operators with technological tools that optimise the management of the machine fleet and improve operational efficiency, always with the aim of reinforcing the sustainability of the hospitality exploitation model and bringing greater transparency to management.
On this basis, the company plans to continue its development throughout 2026, progressively expanding its presence in the Spanish market and exploring new opportunities in Italy, one of the most relevant markets in the sector. The management team is made up of former executives from Codere and Tecnocom with extensive careers in the gaming and technology sectors, and is backed by partners with experience in business growth processes.
BARIANZA is a member of the Platform for Sustainable Gaming, through which it actively participates in initiatives aimed at promoting responsible gambling, including training and awareness-raising activities. The company also holds ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 certifications, accrediting its commitment to quality, sustainability and information security.
According to Jacobo López Zafra, CEO of BARIANZA: "Our objective is to build a business project that grows alongside the sector itself, respecting the hospitality model that characterises the industry in Spain and drawing on the experience of operators. We believe that technology and digitalisation can help improve management and ensure the sustainability of the sector in the coming years."
